Economic Insight is a specialist economics consultancy with extensive experience within competition, regulation and business strategy advice. With clients ranging from blue chip corporations to government and regulatory organisations they use economics to help clients develop business strategies and support key decision making.
Objectives
As part of a development strategy for the core business, Economic Insight have set up a sister subscription service EI Perspectives. Subscribers from key industry sectors will receive regular reports, opinion pieces and data via email.
To support this service a dedicated website was required to briefly summarise the subscriptions benefits, and also provide a login portal to download documents directly. A series of Microsoft Word templates were also required to keep a high standard of design with minimal author formatting.
Our Response
We developed a bespoke responsive WordPress website that utilises a scrolling page design to concisely deliver the core message and display a prominent call to action.
Key to the websites success is a private area for customers to login and access only the reports relevant to their subscription. A bespoke online subscription and payment handling solution was implemented with modified WordPress plug-ins allowing for secure downloads and subscription levels to be easily managed.
A selection of Microsoft Office templates were developed with set character, object and table styles that re-enforce the company branding. A bank of interchangeable images has also been collated and pre-formatted to add variety to report covers and section headers. Finally a maltese cross fold out direct mailer was created for use as a promotional tool at industry events.
