Google My Business Update

There has been some welcome changes this month at Google, so in case they have past you by it’s worth taking another look at your Google Local listing.

Google My business finally brings together your sites Google Maps, Google+, Places and Analytics data in one hub. Whilst not featuring any major new app developments, it will likely provide a welcome tool for frustrated small business owners trying to keep track of their online profiles.

For some time now the growing emphasis on local and mobile search has increased the importance of having a map listing and a complete business profile within Google search results.

For those who have already registered with Google Local your dashboard should automatically update on next login. If you have not yet registered your company details the Google My Business site will take you through the set up and verification process.

We’d strongly recommend all business owners maximise their website Google profile with enticing images, descriptions and reviews.
