Finally given in and got ourselves on Pinterest and I have to say I quite like it. When it first came out I was a little dubious as it seemed to be mainly pins of nice interiors and soft furnishings. However as a graphic designer I’m a bit of a visual hoarder, regularly saving images and snippets from the web in a messy ‘Inspiration’ folder on my desktop or into Evernote. Pinterest provides a nice visually appealing solution and as it saves the web address with the post, you’ll know where the image came from.

I can see possible applications with mood boards for early stage research in branding design briefs or in packaging projects etc. Not got much pinned as yet but here’s our boards if you’d like to follow.
