Into the White have been working with Excel Colour Print based in Derbyshire for a few print projects recently. The print company first came to our attention on receiving a very well designed ‘Creative Dozen’ mailer showcasing many of the innovative digital print techniques the company can create. Historically many traditional print projects such as brochures we’ve created for SME clients have often remained as electronic only publications sent as PDFs to prospective clients. Whilst many clients would like to have printed versions with special finishes and quality paper stocks etc, minimum print quantities and high set up fees for litho printing often makes this unviable.

Excel’s range of striking print techniques for digitally printed projects allow for a range of high end finishes on short print runs. Recent innovations in the field of digital printing are great for keeping print on the table for small to medium sized businesses who’s print quantity needs are in the low hundreds rather than thousands. Smaller, targeted and personalised print runs make sense not only from a marketing point of view but also environmentally, reducing the risk of SMEs being left with boxes of outdated print materials.
