New Work: Wild Heart Native Soul

Into the White have recently completed the branding and website for long time friend of the studio Annie Yates and her company Wild Heart Native Soul

Annie provides luxury manicures and pedicures using only natural and organic products. As part of a holistic approach to treatments she often provides clients with health/beauty tips and nutritional advice to help naturally enhance the health of skin, nails and hair.

The logo for the company needed to evoke a sense of indulgence without any element of fussiness. A restrained elegant typeface with subtle adaptations has been utilised within a clean, balanced arrangement. The simple lines of the logotype are complemented by high quality business cards printed on a slightly textured 600gsm stock.

Whilst the previous company website successfully set out an overview of her treatments, it did not have the structure and flexibility to provide regular articles and updates. The new responsive website design puts the content centre stage, with a simple navigation structure and magazine style layout.

Built in WordPress the site has custom layouts for recipe and review articles to allow a variety of posts to be created with minimal formatting from the author. The full width parallax image headers for posts also add visual impact and help showcase Annie’s fantastic photography skills.

The site has being live for a little less than a month but has already received over 1,500 unique visitors, helped by an active social media presence alongside featured articles on the Food Gawker website. We’ll have a more in-depth case study added to our site really soon.
